There’s no stopping the trend for all things 90s and early 00s. Fashion, music, film and now cocktail bartending, mixology and the drinks have all followed suit. As lovers of anything and everything kitsch, it’s safe to say we can’t get enough of it!

We’ve loved dusting off our bottles of Blue Curaçao and Midori Melon to shake into delicious ‘future classic’ cocktail creations. Tip, use them sparingly! They are unashamedly sweet, neon coloured and, like anything, too much of a good thing can ruin your cocktail. We’ve found they work best with big flavour spirits like a smokey mezcal or a punchy rum agricole. Play around with classic builds like a daiquiri or sour and find that sweet spot, you’ll know when you do!

We’re predicting plenty of neon-hued throwback drinks on wedding and party menus this Spring Summer event season.
